30 years of Pokémon
In 2026 Pokémon celebrates its 30th anniversary. In Japan the Pokémon Card Game marks it with the 30th CELEBRATION expansion (M6a), released on 16 September 2026, and a series of special products that were mostly sold through Pokémon Center Online lotteries.
The M6a expansion
The Japanese booster box holds 20 packs of 6 cards. The set has 103 cards plus secret cards, including holo Pikachu cards drawn by 30 different illustrators, and introduces the new Futuristic Rare (FUR) rarity. We also sell the complete run of all 30 Pikachu cards (017–046/103).
Special boxes and card sets
The Futuristic Box comes with two Pikachu ex promos (131/M-P and 132/M-P) illustrated by YOSHIROTTEN. The nine 30th CELEBRATION card sets each honour the three starter Pokémon of one region, from Kanto to Paldea.
